Skarry Night

When I first decided to play Warmachine, the first model that I fell in love with was the Pistol Wraith. The fluff of Cryx is also pretty interesting. The look and feel of the faction is awesome too. However, the deal clincher was The Queen of the Broken Coast, Skarre Ravenmane.

Firstly, she is a terrific sculpt. It took me a while before I was confident enough to start painting her. Glad that  she turned out well.

Secondly, she is a very fun caster to use. Her set of spells are really cool. From direct damage like Black Spot, indirect damage like Backlash to movement spells like Perdition and Admonition, she has a spell for most situations. The last two spells mentioned are very good 'jack support. Her Seas of Fate also makes running 'jacks focus efficient.On top of that, she is also a very capable assassin. With Life Trader, she can dish out shit loads of damage with her Takkaryx. 

And if all else fails, pop her feat defensively to be kinda invincible for one turn.

Epic Skarre, Queen of the Broken Coast. She is fiercer than she looks.

Back View. The orange-red shading on her cloak brings her to the foreground.

To complete the domination of the Broken Coast, she would need her ship loads of Satyxis Raiders. I am still in the midst of painting them (in fact, they are on hold).  A sneak peek of their leader...

Side View One. I seriously have no idea where the metallic flakes on the purple come from. Probably I didn't wash my brush properly.
